Day 01: Arrive Delhi:
On your early morning arrival at International airport, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
Delhi, India’s modern capital is also an ancient city tracing its origins in legend. It is dotted with hundreds of landmarks and offers more than a millennium of history in stone. From here various Hindu and Muslim dynasties including the Mughals ruled India. When British administration moved to Delhi and New Delhi became the Capital of India once again.
Full day take the tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi.
Morning proceed for sightseeing of New Delhi, visit Qutub Minar, One of the fine examples of early afghan architecture, Humayun Tomb, built by the wife of Humayun, Haji Begum in the mid 16th century, this red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal. Drive pass by India Gate (A War memorial) and Presidency House.
Afternoon sightseeing of Old Delhi include the drive past to Red Fort, visit to Jama Masjid, Commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and completed in the year 1656 AD, it is one of the largest and best-known mosques, and later enjoy cycle rickshaw ride within Chandani Chowk market.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Delhi- Manali (510 Kms/10 Hrs):
Morning proceed for Manali by surface and on arrival check-in into the hotel for overnight stay.
An altitude of 2050 m, Manali is situated along the banks of the Beas, close to the Rohtang Pass and Solang Valley, Situated on the banks of the Beas, the village is renowned for its hot springs and temples. The river with the wild flowers, hamlets and fruit-laden orchards present the gifts of the sight, sound and smell.
Day 03: In Manali:
Morning visit the Temple and Monasteries.
Visit and visit 400 years old Pagoda Temple of Hadimba Devi and old Manali to see the Manu temple and Vashist Temple - a glance of Himachali Articture.
Evening you is free to explore the Mall road. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Manali - Jispa (147 Kms):
In the morning drive to Jispa with pack lunch via Rohtang Pass, is full of magnificent beauty.
On arrival at Jispa check-in into your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05: Jispa - Sarchu (4253 Mts /75 Kms/01 Hrs):
After breakfast, drive to Darcha and Baralachala Pass (4800 m) and on arrival check in at camp at Sarchu.
Sarchu is the last border point between Himachal and Ladakh, where HPTDC put up a tented colony for the convenience of the tourists during summer season.
Enjoy your packed lunch and enter to the gorge of Sarchu. Come out of the gorge after crossing the bridge and enter the Sarchu Plateau (4,100m). Here you can enjoy a cool and refreshing breeze, soothing your body and nerves.
Stay overnight in tents.
Day 06: Sarchu - Tsokar (4268 Mts/165 Kms) - Tsomoriri (4485 Mts/45 Kms):
Morning proceed to Tso Kar (Kar Lake) after visit the lake drive to Tsomoriri via Sumdo.
Sumdo to Tsomoriri is one of the most interesting drives as it goes through sandy deserts & rocky paths. After slowly zigzagging up to the Namshang-La, the drive follows a smooth descent and drive past the isolated Later continue drive to Tsomoririri and on arrival stay in camp. Tsomoriri Lake is also called as white lake because of salt deposit around it. It is approx 45 Kms northwest of the Tso -Kar a small turquoise lake which appears like an emerald of a queen's necklace also called as white lake because of salt deposit around it. It is approx 45 Kms northwest of the Tso -Kar. Stay overnight in camp.
Day 07: Tsomoriri - Leh (3506 Mts /280 Kms /07 Hrs):
Morning proceed to Leh via Sumdo and Chuma - Thang (3965M) and on arrival check-into the hotel for overnight stay.
Rest of the day you are free for independent activities.Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 08: In Leh:
Full day excursion to visit monasteries.
Visit to Leh Palace - the palace is a distinguished monument and a historical building. The nine- storied palace was built by the 17th century illustrious ruler of Ladakh Sengge Namgyal. Later Shey Palace, This Palace Monastery has the largest statue of Maitreya Buddha (Buddha to come) in Ladakh.
Visit Thiksey monastery it is quite interesting to visit the monastery early in the morning to see praying cermoney and visit one of the biggest Monastery of Leh "Hemis". On the way back visit Shey Palace. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 09: In Leh:
Morning take a half day tour of Spituk and Phyang Monastery.Spituk village, its spacious rooftops command superb views. There is the grave of a very high reincarnation at the Gompa and the Spitok head Lama is also the head Lama of the Sankar Gompa in Leh. He also represents Ladakh as a member of the Indian Parliament. Gurphug in Stok and Pashi Gephel in Sabu are also under monasteries of Spitok.The Gompa has three chapels of which the highest, the Paldan Lumo temple (Kali Mater), is the most impressive. The temple Gonkhang is approximately a thousand years old. Phyang built by kind Lkra-Shis_namgyal, founder of Namgyal Dynasty, in 1500 after defeating the last of the Lah-Chen King and is the home of the Sri Khing Pa sect (Red Capped).
Afternoon you will visit to Kings Palace, Leh Mosque, Leh Gompa, and Shankar Gompa. Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 10: Leh – Delhi Depart:
In time you will transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi, and on arrival transfer to hotel for day use.Later in time transfer to airport of Delhi take the flight to your onward destination.
